Role focus - ** must have driving licence and access to car with Business insurance The Family Group Conference Service offers a 7 day service to families, however, workers predominantly manage their own diaries - There is the expectation that family members will be seen outside of normal working hours where this is needed - The role of the Family Group Conference worker is to support families to establish safe plans for children to remain in the care of their parents or wider network - The Family Group Conference worker has an independent role in supporting the family but this process works alongside social worker assessments Candidate profile - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required.
