Mou Childrens Senior Social Worker - Durham in Durham, United Kingdom. This temporary Social UK opportunity is being handled by Verovian Social for a local authority or social care client. Role focus - Experienced social worker to work in a busy safeguarding team - We work hybrid model 2 days in the office and 3 days at home (this may change to meet the needs of the service) - C&F assessments Chair core groups & Child in need meetings Write children in our care reports and plans Attend PLO meetings Write Court evidence and attend Court Work with children and families under Child in Need, CP, PLO, Court Other social work related tasks identified by your manager Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay and representation - Public rate shown: GBP 24.95/hr PAYE. - Verovian will confirm availability, compliance position, location fit and consent before any client submission. - Client identity and full submission details are handled through the recruiter-led process.
