Role focus - Qualified SW with experiences in preferably fostering field, alternatively kinship or adoption - Candidates will be responsible for the implementation of the regional pathfinder Hub, ensuring that sound advice and guidance is shared with prospective foster carers - Candidates will need to have sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills - Experience of working with children, foster carers, parents and other professionals is highly desirable - Knowledge of family finding and matching children with carers would also be an advantage Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required.
