Role focus - confidential healthcare organisation are looking for Agency Social Workers to join a busy Children’s Social Work Team - This fast-paced role involves completing statutory assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring robust safeguarding and risk management for children and families - You will manage a varied caseload, attend child protection conferences and reviews, and maintain accurate, timely records - The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multi-agency partners - Complete assessments and manage a child-focused caseload Safeguard children through risk assessment and intervention Develop and review care plans Work with families and multi-agency professionals Attend meetings (e.g., child protection conferences, reviews) Maintain accurate records and prepare reports, including for court Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required.
