Role focus - 10.12.25 CW - Advised that further 5 agency staff have been used - booking is going to be increased to 11 and will request name of agency workers be confirmed from Pin Point so they can be booked - End date also amended from 31st Oct 25 to 31 Jan 26 - being reported to DCS & DCC Middlesbrough Council require 6 x 37-hour staff members who are will to do sleep overs and long days in our internal children's residential home - Emergency request approved by DCS for 2 weeks and then review 13/07/26- Eleanor Wilson asked whether this order could be changed from a worker-based requirement to an hours-based requirement, as she was experiencing issues with the consistency of the agency workers - I spoke with Claire Walker, who advised that we are unable to change the requirement to hours - Middlesbrough Council urgently require 6 x 37-hour staff members who are will to do sleep overs and long days in our internal children's residential home - We will need Support Workers who can provide consistent, compassionate care to children with learning disabilities and who have experienced trauma - The ideal candidate will: • Understand neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice, using approaches that are sensitive to each child’s emotional and developmental needs - • Be trained in PRICE (Protecting Rights in a Caring Environment), with the ability to use de-escalation and physical intervention techniques safely and appropriately Candidate profile - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. Pay and representation - Public rate shown: GBP 13.69/hr PAYE. - Verovian will confirm availability, compliance position, location fit and consent before any client submission. - Client identity and full submission details are handled through the recruiter-led process.
