Role focus - The role is to work with individuals who have a diagnosis of Learning Disabilities - To carry out assessments of need with individuals and their carers utilising a person-centred approach To identify eligible needs whilst ensuring a positive approach to risk which underpins practice and decision making - To ensure all assessments are of a high standard and conducted in accordance with national and local requirements - To identify, in conjunction with individuals and/or their carers, the most appropriate ways of achieving outcomes identified through the assessment process and to promote independence and well-being through the use of universal, targeted and specialist services as appropriate - Work with individuals, families, carers and communities to help them make informed decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs and contribute to service planning - Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, their families and carers: provide advice and support: promote independence and early intervention, as necessary - and ensure they have accessto appropriate representation including advocacy, IMCA, IMHA where appropriate Candidate profile - Social work registration with Social Work England, SSSC, Social Care Wales or NISCC as applicable to the role location, or confirmed eligibility where qualified practice is required. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 154.99/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-08-03 to 2026-10-30; 08:30-04:30. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service. Before representation, Verovian will confirm pay or rate, working pattern, location expectations, client context and what information you consent to share.
