Adults Social Worker (Qualified) - Redcar And Cleveland in Redcar And Cleveland, United Kingdom. Role focus - We are seeking Social Workers with strong ethics and values to support adults and carers in our communities to live the life they choose to, regardless of their age or stage of life - We currently have roles available in our learning Disabilities team - To undertake appropriate levels of assessments of need in line with national guidance, legislation, Health & Care Professionals Council codes of practice alongside departmental policies/procedures and guidance - To develop and implement plans to meet the assessed needs of children or adults and their families/carers and to undertake the role of allocated worker - To work in partnership with service users and carers in the assessment, planning and review of services - To work in partnership with other department’s within the local authority, other statutory, voluntary and independent agencies - To ensure that professional standards and practice are maintained and that responsibility for practice and decision making is undertaken commensurate with the level of experience, knowledge and grade - To be able to recognise safeguarding situations and report through agreed processes to enable appropriate action to be taken Candidate profile - Social work registration with Social Work England, SSSC, Social Care Wales or NISCC as applicable to the role location, or confirmed eligibility where qualified practice is required. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Adult services, hospital discharge, assessment or community social care experience where relevant. Pay and representation - Public rate shown: GBP 154.99/hr PAYE. - Verovian will confirm availability, compliance position, location fit and consent before any client submission. - Client identity and full submission details are handled through the recruiter-led process.

Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 154.99/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-08-23 to 2026-12-26; 08:30-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
