Role focus - As Assistant Team Manager, you will support the Team Manager in the operational leadership and performance management of the Mental Health Social Work and Reablement Team - Oversee assessment, review, and care planning functions to ensure efficient, effective service delivery - Drive quality standards and monitor performance to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and service priorities - Act as a key interface between frontline teams and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication and collaborative problem-solving - Key Responsibilities Provide regular professional supervision, ensuring adherence to statutory duties and organisational standards - Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and evidence-based practice - Support team performance, workflow, and service delivery targets - Champion strength-based, recovery-focused, and outcomes-driven practice in line with the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and organisational values Candidate profile - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 22.85/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-08-17 to 2026-11-30; 08:45-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
