Role focus - We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Ferryhill Families First team - This is a rewarding and varied role working with children and families in need of help and protection - Using our signs of safety practice model in a strengths-based, relational, trauma aware way, you till work alongside families to build safety plans and networks with the child's voice at the centre of all that you do - You will work within child in need, section 47, child protection, some private law and public law supporting children to remain within their families safely and to thrive Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 24.95/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-07-26 to 2026-11-30; 08:30-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
