Role focus - This is to cover a permanent member of the team who is seconded for 6 months - The position is Independent Reviewing Officer - The office base is in Darlington, some home working is possible - We are am looking for a Social Work Practitioner, with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience to chair a range of statutory meetings - primarily Child Protection Conferences and Child in our Care Reviews - These meetings are face to face meetings - The CP Conference are all held in Darlington Candidate profile - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay and representation - Public rate shown: GBP 27.03/hr PAYE. - Verovian will confirm availability, compliance position, location fit and consent before any client submission. - Client identity and full submission details are handled through the recruiter-led process.

Pay, rota and consent

Published pay/rate: GBP 27.03/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-07-13 to 2027-01-22; 08:30-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
