Role focus - t’s a pre-birth social worker post - Hybrid working available - Pre-birth assessments Section 47 enquiries, report to ICPC/RCPC, planning/intervention and review, issue to court - Run a caseload (of 8-10) inc assessment, CIN, CP, PLO and care proceedings (including to adoption) Chair meetings with parents, children and their families Family networking and family group decision making Multi agency working to offer a ‘front loaded’ approach to working with first time parents where there are exceptional vulnerabilities and parents who have had children placed outside of their care previously Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 24.95/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-06-01 to 2027-01-31; 08:30-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
