Role focus - Darlington Fostering Team are currently looking for an experienced Kinship Fostering Supervising Social Worker - The role is predominantly based in Darlington assessing and supervising Darlington families, however there will be a need to assess families nationally if this is required - The key responsibilities will include the completion of viability assessments, Form K assessments and the supervision of Connected Foster Carers - This is a hybrid role where there will be a blend of working from home and office working - Requirement for Fostering Kinship Social Worker, please refer to JD Candidate profile - Social work registration with Social Work England, SSSC, Social Care Wales or NISCC as applicable to the role location, or confirmed eligibility where qualified practice is required. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay and representation - Public rate shown: GBP 21.70/hr PAYE. - Verovian will confirm availability, compliance position, location fit and consent before any client submission. - Client identity and full submission details are handled through the recruiter-led process.

Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 21.70/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-09-14 to 2026-12-12; 09:00-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
