Role focus - Join us as a Social Worker in the Kinship Care Team! We have a great opportunity for a Social Worker to join our award winning Kinship Team to support children to have stability and permanence with their extended family members or friends - We are driven to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people through the completion of high quality assessments and comprehensive support packages for our kinship carers, who are highly valued and well respected - We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and has a real understanding of the needs of Kinship Carers and their children - We are looking for someone who can make sensible decisions in line with regulations and best practice, someone who is curious and knowledgeable about safeguarding and good care, and who is committed to helping children and families/friends to stay together - Social Worker in the Kinship team - Candidate needs to supervise kinship carers, complete Connected Persons Assessment, Regulation 24 assessments, Foster Carer reviews and participate in the support services Candidate profile - Social Work England registration or confirmed eligibility where the role requires qualified social work practice. - Relevant social care experience in a UK local authority, community, safeguarding or provider setting. - Right to work, professional references and role-specific compliance before placement. - Children's services experience, including statutory, safeguarding, assessment or family support work where required. Pay, rota and consent
Published pay/rate: GBP 21.70/hr PAYE. Working pattern: 2026-07-27 to 2026-10-27; 08:30-17:00. Setting: Local authority, community social care or provider service.
